Now on to my project: 

For my project for today, I made a card for my momma.

A little back-story of my momma. She is my everything; my mother gave up everything for me when I was a kid. She worked three jobs for a while until she got hurt to support me. Now since she’s disabled I take care of her. This past February she underwent brain surgery. They removed a mass from behind her sinus cavity that was the size of a walnut. I feared I would loose my momma. I mean that’s the story of life we all eventually die, but I’m only 24 and I need my momma. I am back in school to get a head in life so I can take better care of her. With out my mom, even though I would love to be able to get away from her, I would be lost.  All my friends who know my mom love her and offer to help me when I need a break from taking care of her. Mostly it’s keeping her company and making sure she doesn’t fall.

This is an A2 sized card.

I used a recollections flower spray.

The paper is from my minds eye

And it’s just a kraft colored base.

The pink mat is 4 by 5.25

The kraft mat is 3.5 by 4.75

And the blue floral paper is 3.25 by 4.5

The ribbon is just something from my stash.

I used just a cheap stamp that says love you

I printed off the poem,

For the inside.

I’ll love you forever,

I’ll like you for always,

As long as I’m living,

My mommy you’ll be.

It’s from the book my momma use to always read to me as a kid.
