Flowers Flowers everywhere Flowers Blog hop day two

Flowers, flowers, everywhere flowers...Don't you just love flowers? They bring color and beauty along with fragrance to our world and that is why this hop is celebrating them in all their glory. Hop along to see how the crafty people in our line up have used flowers in and on their projects.

Our Hostess for this hop is Lissa Marie and her site is the place to start if you've happened upon this hop by accident and want to see more pretty flowers. Otherwise I am not the last stop along the hop tonight and once your done checking out my project head on over to Anna’s blog.
Now for my project :)
This is my centerpiece table thing
I really don’t know what to call it
It’s pretty I think, and so does my mommy and its for her.
It’s the first thing I made for her new themed bedroom I am creating for her through out the summer.

The paper and burlap are the same as yesterday's project. As well as the die.

Sorry I had to take the pics in the bathroom, it had the best lighting.
I used a paper mache cone in the medium size
I glued the flowers on randomly
There are approximately 65 flowers on here.
I sprayed some glitter spray paint all over to finish it off and give a little sparkle.
Hope you like it

  3. 65 flowers!!!! Well, now I know what you've done with them. Oh, you must have the patience of Job! Well, I'd better get to mine. I can't believe how many flowers I'll need for Mom's wreath, and I need to get it in the mail by Wednesday for a Saturday delivery, otherwise pay for overnighting... eeeek. Always fun hopping with you, Jessi!

  5. I really like this. The colors are very spring like and I can see using this as a centerpiece on a buffet table or mantel over the fireplace. Do you think you'll make one for any of the upcoming holidays? It might look cool to have orange and black for Halloween or shades of red and green for Christmas? Maybe I'll get motivated myself to try it. : ) Thanks for sharing your creativeness.

  10. This is really pretty. I'm glad your momma likes it. I can't wait to see the rest of the decor you make for her new room! Did the quilling tool work out better for you? I can only imagine how bad your hands must have been cramping making all those flowers :P It was all worth it though because your final product is great!
